Design the following maps for the District Municipality of your choice. Use the specific software to come design these maps

1. Land Cover Map of 2018 - Data is available at the Department of Environmental Affairs website.
2. Descriptive map (mapping showing key areas, rivers, place names, roads, towns, etc.) – use the data downloaded from OpenStreetMap and some of the datasets that were provided in class. Include the insert of the DEM, locality in South Africa and in Africa.
3. A normal hill shaded Digital Elevation Model (DEM). You must include the landcover, place names on the DEM.
4. A drapped hill shaded Digital Elevation Model (DEM). You must include the landcover, place names on the DEM. Use Blender to improve you map.
5. Using United States Geological Survey’s Earth Explorer and download cloud free winter and summer Landsat 8 images for 2022 of your municipality. Calculate the NDVI and NDWI values of each season and produce a map of each. Use colours that will depict variations in vegetation and water.
