In part Part A - Questionnaire Design should include the following elements:
I. Develop a Research Context:
• This section sets the context of your investigation and overviews the research problem ascertaining the importance, magnitude and priority of the issue. Hence, why it is worth investigating and why it is imperative do so.
II. Review of Literature:
• Minimum of three academic articles relevant to the study must be included with findings.
III. Research questions or hypothesis:
• Well-defined objectives (2 to 3 objectives) of the study expressed in questions or hypotheses.
IV. Research design:
• Methodology planned for the research (type of research) including each technique that you are going to do (i.e. Exploratory/Descriptive, etc.). Include in this section how the data will be collected using [i.e. research method (e.g. telephone, mail, internet, etc.)].
V. Sampling Plan:
• This includes the number of interviews that you will conduct in the quantitative phase of your project; how you will recruit the respondents, and why you chose the sampling technique recommended.
VI. Project Schedule:
• List each (and all) of the steps that will be undertaken, and the time taken for each to complete the project (including submission and presentation deadlines).
PART B: DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
• The second part of the assignment should incorporate all elements of the research process including data collection and recommendations.
• The students are expected to administer the constructed questionnaire from Part A to a minimum of 20 respondents.
• Summarise the data in tables eliminating invalid data.
• Apply simple statistical tools such as graphs, ratios, percentages, averages, standard deviation, correlation and regression to analyse the data. With the findings of the study write a research report in a standard format consolidating findings from Part A; and all elements of Part B, as follows:
