Assignment Task

This course gives you advanced experience to develop your skills of being an independent, safe and effective x’s nutrition consultant, with the ability to positively impact clients with a range of health challenges and goals. Utilization of research and reflection in nutrition case work is emphasized to deepen clinic aptitude.

The following case taking assignments aim to assess your ability to apply the knowledge acquired in your studies. You can use your course material, textbooks and other resources for these assignments. Each assignment is graded as either "Pass" or "Fail" and you have 3 attempts to pass. Grading may take up to 4 weeks. Please use the Case Taking documents for your Case Taking assignments. X’s Referencing Guidelines should be adhered to, a minimum of 5 quality references per case study is expected.

For these assignments you are required to organize to see a client of your own, using the case history form and format as described in your training (see Case Taking lectures and handouts for review). Your client must attend a follow-up after the initial consultation to be a complete case study. The case study submitted must include the completed Client Case Taking form (including Follow-Up form). Do not include the front cover with your client’s name and address. Refer to the client by their initials only in your written work. Your case study must be a typed document of approximately words (not including the case taking forms nor the recipes or handouts you provide them).
