Aworkbench is already setup with a webcam, and the camera calibration is done, the matlab file must be able to assess the pictures taken from the webcam and identify what parameters are present with the use of a dice.
For example, if the dice is started at a certain position on the workbench, with a certain face of the die facing up (e.g 5 dots) and is then moved to another position on the workbench with the same face of the die facing up, and always being moved along the same trajectory over several different scenarios (using the images), then matlab needs to be able to identify the xyz coordinates and orientation of the die within each image, assess these identifications and say something like ‘Initial position die face = final position die face, trajectory is the same across all scenarios, start and end points are the same across all scenarios’, but if matlab detects that one scenario of images is different to another, it outputs the that ‘Initial position die face does not equal the final positions die face, trajectory is different across all scenarios, start and end points are different across all scenarios’. These are two outputs but outputs where the final and initial position is the same but the die face is different etc are needed too.
