Business Report Assignment
For all enrolled, on-campus, business students in Semester 2, 2018, one of the assessment tasks for one of your units must include the specific assessment task relating to the
Missional Business Conference, on Tuesday 14th August (Option a).
Many of the business units on offer this semester will include an assessment task worth 20% of the grade overall. This task will be a choice of:
a) A personal reflection on the Missional Business Conference (due end of week 6), or
b) An essay or other task related to the specific content of the unit (due end of week 9)
If you are enrolled in more than one business unit, you may only choose the 20% assessment task option relating to the Missional Business Conference for one of your units.
If you are enrolled in only one business unit, and if this unit includes the assessment task relating to the Missional Business Conference, you must choose that option.
Required: During the Missional Business Conference you heard from presenters regarding various theoretical, practical and case study elements of Missional Business.
You are required to write a detailed personal reflection of the Missional Business Conference. Your reflection should include:
a) Part A - A brief overview of each speaker’s key points. For each speaker, also comment on what they specifically contributed to your understanding of Missional Business.
b) Part B - Identify and discuss three key points which were specifically relevant to this particular Unit’s content/topics. These three points could have been raised by one
or more of the speakers. Provide evidence of further reading and research regarding the unit topic via comment and citation.
c) Part C - Outline your personal perspectives and reflections of the Missional Business Conference. In particular, discuss how the conference has challenged or developed
your personal perspectives on business generally and Missional Business specifically.
