Assignment 1  Comparison 
 

1) Access the 2 journal articles listed below using the UCLAN library,

Banerjee, H., and Olson, J. (2021) ‘What learning tools do students prefer? An assessment of undergraduate business courses’, Journal of Education for Business, 96 (5), pp275-283.

Gioiosa, M.E., and Kinkel. K. (2019) ‘Classroom Exercises with technology and communication skills: student’s perceptions’, Journal of International Education 12 (1) pp2-13

2) Read the 2 journal articles above, then choose 1 article only
3) Read through the reference list given at the end of your chosen article and select another journal article from that list. 
4) You should now have 2 journal articles to complete the assignment task. 
5) Write a Comparison Essay on your 2 chosen articles

Assignment 2 (Reflection)   
Write a Reflection Essay on what you have learnt whilst studying the Study Skills module e.g. Harvard referencing, reading strategies, notetaking etc. You may also include things that you have learnt whilst completing your first Study Skills assignment i.e. writing a Comparison essay, e.g. reading an academic article, planning a compare and contrast essay etc.

In preparation for writing your Assignment 2: Reflection Essay please consider the following.

• Identify what you have learnt from the Study Skills module as a whole and whilst writing Assignment 1:Comparison Essay. In addition to these observations you should consider and write about the implications the skills that you have learnt have for you as a student and also as a future professional. 
• Ensure you include 4-5 learning experiences in this essay.
• Provide evidence of further reading in this essay and therefore must include between 6 to 10 academic references. 
• Ensure that you use in text citations that are then given full references at the end of your work
• Write in the first person using I or me.  
• The essay should NOT have sub-headings.

2.Level of sophistication of observations and self-reflection in assignment 2
