GUIDELINE OF STAGES INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT

e.    Using part d), formulate some interesting inference problems.

 

STAGE 2: 
Now carry out formal statistical inferences. Find suitable confidence intervals for one or more parameters that would be relevant and important in the chosen context. Similarly, carry out one or more testing of hypothesis from real context. Ideally, these should be connected with parts d) and e) of Stage 1. This is the most critical stage of the project --- you would be evaluated on how well you are able to formulate the real-life problem into a structured statistical inference problem and implication of the result in address the specific real-life context.

 

STAGE 3: 
Carry out a suitable simple and/or multiple linear regression analysis. Ideally, this could be connected with the data considered in Stage 1 (by augmenting more variables). However, if you are really stuck, you can take another context/data, if required.
