Perform the static analysis on Week 3’s connection lug problem with modified dimensions, as illustrated below.
In your report, you need to submit the following results:
1. Problem description.
2. Analyse the problem with 5 different mesh densities and show the meshes (without displaying the node labels or element labels).
3. Present the contour plots of the maximum principal stress for all the 5 models.
4. Draw a diagram to show the convergence of the maximum magnitude of the vertical displacement. Recommend which mesh should be used for the analysis.
5. A short discussion on your results (no more than 50 words).
