Report Writing Assignment:

Task: Assignment 4 : The student is to prepare component drawings in Solid works and also prepare an assembly drawing in solid works. Please include the weld sizes and welding symbols on your assembly drawings. The final report will contain pdf's of all the drawings, and a three dimensional rendering of the assembly and describing the manufacturing sequence. The student will choose the welding processes for the various joints and the required inspection processes, if any, while keeping in mind cost and quality.Solid works files for cutting and a three dimensional assembly of the component with welding symbols will also be submitted. Although students can work together for creating the solid works files,( if they do not know how to use solid works), each student is required to submit his or her own project individually. Create your own logo or name your own company in the title block indicating your id number. Submit the solid works file in DVD/CD included with your final report
