In this Module you will look at how Australian identity (whatever that may be) is embedded in what we build, how we build and why we revere and are attracted to particular architectures. This Module will set the scene for the unit to come and aims to look at the place that architectural history has in Australia with a view to giving you an understanding of Australian identity and how this connects with architecture and heritage. Some of the themes we will be discussing include the past, history, memory and identity.
Learning Outcomes
In this Module you will learn:
