Social media has become an integral part of modern life, and its usage is rapidly increasing among students. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok provide students with the ability to connect and communicate with their peers in ways that were previously impossible. However, excessive use of social media has been linked to several negative impacts on students' academic and psychological well-being. The importance of social media in the lives of students cannot be overstated. Social media platforms provide an opportunity for students to connect with their peers, share ideas, collaborate on projects, and stay up-to-date with the latest news and trends. Social media can also be used to promote creativity and learning through the sharing of ideas and experiences.
