Use the previous Metes and Bounds file and divide the entire area into 6 parcels (approximately 33 to 53 acres each) with boundary lines. Only two parcels will contain buildings and roadways. Student can choose which two parcels contain buildings but they must be adjacent to each other. Each building shall have a 100 feet setback from any two boundary lines. One parcel shall have a 60,000 sq. ft. building. The second parcel shall have a 100,000 sq. ft. building. Relatively close to each building shall be a parking lot. Each parking lot shall have a 24’ opening into the isle with two way traffic with 90 degree parking. Each parking lot shall have 2 isles with 4 rows of parking to accommodate 52 parking spots. Each parking spot shall be 8?1/2’ wide by 18 feet in length.

Objectives for the design file, student shall create an assignment standards sheet to be turned in with the project. The assignment standards sheet shall resemble the project directives provided to students for all previous lab designs. The assignment’s project directive shall include:

• Levels created and what entities that shall be found on each level
• Text Styles created with settings for each
• Dimension Style created with settings

Project design shall include:

• labels on each parcel to identify acreage
• each property line should have a label to identify distance and direction

• Building outlines to be red and lines to have width of 2 and line type to be continuous.
• Each building shall have a label identifying the square footage of the facility.
• New property lines to be cyan color
• Roads to be drawn to match specifications called out to match Sussex County Road Standards R?2.07 Type III. Student should draw a 50’ right of way with 25’ lanes and the optional 10’ Utility/Drainage easement road should include a centerline
• Title block shall be representative of what was created on previous labs assignments. Student’s name, date, project name and scale which will be “full scale”.
