PART FIVE: WRITTEN REPORT AND PRESENTATION 
There are two components that you must complete in part five of your Final Research Project. There are resources included on this page that will help you prepare for both parts. 
Part 1: A 6-10 page report (approximately 1500-2500 words)

4. A summary of your research findings, including important themes and specific pieces of evidence from the data you collected to support your findings. The findings should be organized in bar graphs, pie charts, line graphs, tables, or detailed quotations. 
5. Identify the implications of your findings. Why are your findings important? What does it mean to those who study food and nutrition? Are there any important implications for individuals and governments? 

Part 2: A 10-15 min oral presentation 
In addition to your research report, you will present your findings to your classmates and teacher. You will have between 10 and 15 minutes to present. The presentation is not to be a re-reading of the research report, but is to include: 
1. An overview of the topic from various perspectives and an explanation as to why it is controversial or worthy of discussion. 
2. The informed opinion you have come to based on your research findings (i.e. what is your perspective on the topic?) 
3. A visual representation of some aspect of your topic (poster, poster board, video clip, slide show presentation on a laptop or tablet). The purpose of your visual is to be informative, reflective, and persuasive in nature.
