Description

In this exploratory case study within Airline industry (Ryanair), you will work in the role of a manager to examine how existing operations of the company impact on the achievement of organisational goals. You will also use and apply technology (Excel) to develop a dashboard to monitor ongoing performance.

What needs to be covered:

1. Identify focus of the operational goals/strategy and define objectives that could fall under those focus areas.

2. Identify measurable targets (KPIs) that is measurable and monitors organisational performance and evaluates the success rate of the organisation in relation to the organisational objectives.

3. Compare the performance of the case company, on selected set of indicators, with competitors and discuss what the company could learn from benchmarking each other?

4. Evaluate issues/problems that may impact on the achievements of organisational goals. What insights for future successful operations can you draw from your analysis?

5. Prepare a dashboard by using Excel to indicate main areas of operational focus, visualise key operational indicators/performance and provide comparison of selected performance indicators with competitors.
