In the modern workplace, the personal attributes and behaviours of members contribute (both positively and negatively) to the tone of a workplace its climate and culture.

In this 1,000-word Case Study Assignment, you will define, discuss and analyse the concepts of emotional and creative intelligences as these relate to the case scenario ABC Private Hospital refer to Appendix A below, and use the literature (peer-reviewed academic) to support your key points.

The case study/scenario for this assignment is called ABC Private Hospital (and is included in Appendix A below). You will prepare a case study analysis assignment that is supported by evidence (academic peer-reviewed literature).

1. Define and discuss emotional intelligence (EQ) (400 words)
2. According to Goleman (2005), there are five (5) components of EQ (i) self-awareness, (ii) self-regulation, (iii) motivation, (iv) empathy and (v) social skills. Discuss and analyse these five (5) components in relation to the CEO Peter Smith of ABC Private Hospital (600 words).

In your response, you may need to make assumptions where needed but remember to tell the marker what they are and why you have made them (these should be listed in an Appendix).
