2. Select an organisation or industry (Australian or overseas based) with which you are familiar (it may be one you or any of your group members do or have previously worked for).
3. Undertake research on the topic, aiming for a balanced range of research from academic journal articles (AJAs) and popular media (such as podcasts, websites, practitioner publications, etc.). When using popular media as a source in an academic assessment task, you must consider the integrity and rigour of the source. You are required to use eight (8) references, of which at least five (5) must be Academic journal articles.
4. Write a report in which you explore the feasibility of introducing a Six-days work week with eight hour shifts in the chosen industry/organisation.
5. In your report, consider the impact of the proposed changes on management employee relations, both positive and negative. Try to focus on the aspects pertaining to covid-19 triggered disruption, Fair Work Act, employee relations philosophies, labour market, earnings, standard of living, employee union, conflict and so on.
6. Conclude your report with well-argued recommendations of introducing a six-day's work week in your chosen organisation/industry.
