Relevance: As a midwife it is an important skill to be able to communicate and use interpersonal and teamwork skills and have insight into what it means to practice cultural humility. This assessment gives you an opportunity to discuss a range of midwifery topics with your fellow students based on First Nations Australian women.

Task

Write three discussion board posts and three replies to peer posts:

• Part 1 includes submitting one post and a reply from modules 1 and 2 at the end of week 3.
• Part 2 includes submitting 2 posts and replies from modules 3-6 at the end of week 12.

• Provide an original response to the discussion board question/concept found in the unit materials and/or comment or express an opinion on the topic.
• Include back-up evidence (with source(s) cited) and/or use an example that illustrates a point being made on a post.

• Include a respectful comment on someone else’s post or a request for clarification / more information related to that person’s post and/or analyse the main arguments being presented by others and/or
• Pose a new but related question that will cause the discussion to go to a deeper level.
