The Geography of the Land of Palestine in Biblical Times
According to Walter and Robert (1998), the land of the Palestine consists of many areas called the Coastal Plain, the Shephelah or Foothills, the Central Mountain Range, the Wilderness, and the Jordan Valley and the Eastern Mountain Range. The land of Palestine was called Canaan before the Hebrews and Philistines migrated, and it became Palestine. The geographic area and the political rank have changed over three millennia. They settled along the Mediterranean coast (Southern Coast) from Joppa to Gaza about 1300-1200 BC. Palestine has nine fertile rivers, and in late winter, they deliver suitable water resources to grow vegetables as the water resource is minimal. The primary crops of the region are wheat, barley, and lentils. Palestine is rich in Olive Trees as the geography cares about the growth in the land to a large amount. The Cherith, Geena, Jordan, Besore, Kannah, Siloa, Kodron, Shichor-Libnath, and Kishon river (also called The Stream of Slaughter or Nahr Mukata) are Palestine’s main rivers. The Genna regularly flows only in the winter season and runs near Ladshini. Alongside the Palestine mountain range, runs the Kannah River. The Jordan River runs through part of Jordan Valley into the Dead Sea and starts in the north part of Palestine

Three thousand seven hundred years ago, Abraham bought the cave, and the story is told in the Koran and the Bible. In terms of geography, the Judean Desert was where the devil tempted Jesus, which is 1,200 foot Mount of Temptation, and is the lesser mountain.
Judaean Mountains is a mountain range in Israel that spreads to the West Bank that rises to about 3,280 feet above sea level. The forested mountain produces an eastern boundary to the Jordan Valley and western borderline to the Coastal Plains. Mount Ebal produces the North Valley, located directly at the south of Mount Gerizim. The Samaritan's title Mount Gerizim as a holy temple, and growths is 3,084 feet above sea level, around 194 feet taller than its southern neighbor. Mount Hazor is between Judea and Samaria and measures 3,346 feet high. Palestine's most prestigious body of water is called the Dead Sea, and it measures 1,237 feet deep and holding a high salt content of more than 33 percent, which is eight times saltier than any ocean. It is also 11 miles at its broadest point and 42 miles in length.
The geography of the region helps to shape Israel’s self-understanding as the people of God, as it was a promised land given by God to Abraham and his people. It shows the love of God to His people. The land was an eternal gift from God to His people, and it was the center of their worship and the place where the Lord revealed himself above the mercy seat. It is also a place of safety, refuge, and sanctuary.
