Overview 
For this assignment, we will use the ideas and concepts introduced in Module 1 to design a survey that can be used to collect sample survey data. Remember, it’s important to collect sample data in a valid manner where the collected data faithfully represents the population we are investigating. Therefore, we need to ask appropriate questions in order to fulfill the purpose of the survey.  

Scenario 
You have been commissioned by your local Water Authority to develop a survey instrument that will assess previously unmeasured values of the services that the Water Authority provides to the households within the community in which it serves. The Water Authority hopes to develop an understanding of its “value”  beyond the rates that are defined by the provision of potable water and the removal of waste-water (from households). The Water Authority intends to use the results of your survey to assist in the identification of economic impacts associated with things that generally, are not defined economically, and are not yet clearly understood, and the development of strategies to then formally measure those values. (Things like the value that society might place on having clean water). Your developed survey questionnaire will contain 20 questions which should take a household respondent no more than 15 minutes to complete.  Accordingly, for this survey, there should be no open-ended questions (For more information, see Guideline Two-Variable Category Definition).  

Part A – Survey Questions
•Task 1: each survey question you create should be approximately 10 to 20 words
