Highlights
Description
Part A is a consultancy style project plan delivered as a summary report. Your report will be based on one of the four projects provided in the supporting documents. Part A of the assignment is a project plan that has multiple sections of analysis which are informed by further research to help addressing your clients’ problems/requirements. Read below for the recommended structure to complete the assignment.
Part B is a reflective report based your group work experience and informed by your agile approach to preparing your group report - including sprint planning and documenting stand-up meetings and retrospectives. This reflective report must follow the 4Rs of reflective thinking (Reporting, Relating, Reasoning, and Reconstructing) to consider qualitative improvements of the project plan and your group work.
A - Group Project Plan: Deliverables
Prepare a consultancy format summary report of your project plan with relevant and concise information based on detailed analysis and research guided by the suggestions provided. This requires detailed background work and preparation to identify and develop all required outcomes, present this background work as an appendix to your report (not included in word count). In your appendix include any relevant attachments, i.e., Project schedule (MS Project saved as a .pdf), SOW, etc. to demonstrate your background work. You will be presenting this report to an audience familiar with the issues, concepts, and theories. Ensure your report strongly and convincingly relates to your client’s project requirements in an applied fashion.
Aspects of your Reflection
Critically evaluate the learning gathered through approaching this assessment using an agile project management process to complete your assessment. You are encouraged to produce and use agile documentation, i.e., the hurdle project backlog document, stand-up meeting and sprint retrospective minutes from your sprints (minimum of 2 sprints). Your reflection must cover two critical aspects. Firstly, self-improvement. This can be accomplished by identifying things that worked for you individually, as well as the group, and any workaround challenges experienced. Reflect on the team and how each member committed to the team. Reflect and evaluate each team member’s contribution against the project backlog. Secondly, consider project outcome improvements by applying an appropriate quality management concept. For example, you may consider discussing how the feedback is handled and ways to improve the process.
B - Individual Reflection
Deliverables Complete and submit the Individual reflections along with copies of your group’s 1) stand-up meeting and 2) sprint retrospective meeting minutes. It is the responsibility of the scrum master to distribute copies to each group member following the submission of the Part A of the assignment. The copies of these supportive documents submitted by each team member will therefore be identical.
