Identify a company that you would find interesting to review, visit the company’s website to find additional information about that company. As an MIS consultant you are to:

a. Analyse the business include a description of the organisation’s features, such as important processes, culture, structure, and environment as well as its business strategy. Identify any ethical issues you think may be prevalent in this company, and whether the company values sustainability. 

b. Review the company and how the company is using Information Systems, the web and the internet. 

c. Suggest strategic information systems appropriate for that business, including those based on internet technology. Suggest any improvements to achieve operational 6 excellence and customer intimacy where appropriate. Include a map of a possible business process that you think could be improved, hence do a “current” and a “to be” map showing the recommended situation. 

d. Develop a Knowledge Management value chain for your identified company. Use the model on page 37 offered by Laudon and Laudon (2021) when writing about your case, which includes the business challenge, people, organisation, technology, information systems, and business solution.

Note: an additional 5 % is allocated for the overall presentation of the report (table of contents, visual representation, and 5% is allocated for appropriate references used, good range of sources used, correct referencing style used consistently throughout report.
