ii. A learning reflection. In this blog entry, please synthesize key themes that run through the module and then describe a lecture or workshop that you found most interesting.

iii. A blog entry that critically discusses a key concept relevant to this module. You should explain the concept, elaborate its relevance to social media, and highlight any debate or controversy in the academic literature and/or practitioner’s writings.

Here are a few suggestive concepts to get you started Crowdsourcing/crowdfunding; Fake news; Filter bubble; Network effects; Platformisation; Privacy paradox; Reputation economy; Social capital; Social contagion; Social media anxiety Social profiling. Please consult the instructor if you wish to choose an alternative topic outside the list.

iv. A blog entry of social network analysis using the software Gephi. It is recommended that you collect your own network data (for example, using Gephi’s Twitter Steaming Importer) with a keyword/hashtag of your choice. The entry should include one or multiple screenshots of Gephi visualization. First, explain what data the color and size of the nodes represent; then describe at least one interesting observation about the network structure and/or node attributes (e.g., centrality of a particular node, density of the network, etc.).
