Individuals& entrepreneurial orientation is influenced by their educational context. Entrepreneurship and formal education have a good relationship. In the context of a developing country like Ethiopia, education and training can play a significant role in enhancing entrepreneurship by widening the pool of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are people who are imaginative, inventive, take risks, are dynamic, agile, and courageous, identify opportunities, have leadership capacity, and create networks, and are autonomous and self-reliant. Entrepreneurship is a crucial factor in:
(1) countries' economic growth and development
(2) Providing work opportunities and employment
(3) Enhancing efficiency and production capabilities
(4) Leading to high levels of creativity and innovation, and
(5) It has the potential to raise living standards and generate income, not just for entrepreneurs but also for related businesses. It is important to have the infrastructure in place to promote self-
employment and cultivate an entrepreneurial mind-set. All new ideas and knowledge should be converted to profitable and useful products and services. A culture of starting a new company is an important part of this infrastructure because it allows students to take the chance of starting a business. Therefore, education for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship should start from very early stages of childhood. This research is about the role of teaching Entrepreneurship in Ethiopia. This research is consisted of a main hypothesis based on There is a meaningful relation between teaching and Entrepreneurship development.
Background
Entrepreneurship is about entrepreneurial individuals creating innovative organizations that grow and create value, either for profit or not. But entrepreneurship does not have to include the creation of new organizations, it can also occur in existing organizations (Shane and Venkataraman, 2007). It is not only limited to the entrepreneurial individual, but also to entrepreneurial opportunities and the relation between the individual and the opportunity, i.e. the individual-opportunity nexus as described by Shane (2003).
