Business Strategy Assignment:

Part 1: I hired Ashu's DJ and flashing lights for this event that only costs $100 to me and the entry fee was just $5. I sold around 67 tickets, 67*5= $335, and that 67 people buy heaps of drinks and snacks from the bar, that’s an extra profit to the restaurant. Security of restaurant was one the major issue while organising this event,  As the manager told me that in that 2 hrs time they roughly have a sale of $1330 for drinks and another $440 for the snacks. so, for the total if I estimate, total money the business earned on that night is $335+1330+440=$1705. Roughly if I can say that maximum $600 should be enough to pay the staff, DJ, restaurant expenses for that two hours, so, the total profit for that 2 hrs= 1705-1600= $1105 which was really big success for me. Part 2: a group of conference people came into the restaurant for the lunch, after they finished their lunch I reviewed one of the staff members and he told me about COE Danielle, then I talked to him, he reviewed the restaurant well, then I asked him for dinner plans, took his contact details and then discussed it with my boss, and we did following promotions for the conference people, a) with a group of 10 people there is free  dinner for 10th one.  b) there's 50% discount on third drink Part 3: Shared all this with the Danielle, after an hour he made a booking of around 30 people by calling the restaurant and around 55 conference people came there for the dinner. it was big crowd and my boss was very happy at this success. and restaurant became very busy for the dinner, next day my boss also paid me $250 for these successful events. for the sales as I discussed with the restaurant manager, he told me that there was an extra profit of around $1938 to the restaurant for that bookings.  third one was to reserve the parking space with oasis centre, for this oasis didn’t approved the application. fourth one was to bring conference people for breakfast as well, As for breakfast, I had chat with Danielle, he told me that hotels provide breakfast to the team members, we also tried this but only 20 people turned up, so I can say I wasn’t very successful for the breakfast. Question: 1) Write a business plan for your venture and critically reflect and evaluate each part of the model, specifically targeted to a potential financial investor who has an interest in your idea(s). 2) You have been asked by the potential investor to provide a business plan regardless of what stage you are at, the success or failure you are experiencing, and regardless of the value of the investment required. 3) This investor wants a brief description and explanation of the business model, including revenue and cost details, but is primarily interested in your own personal, critical reflection and evaluation of each element of the business plan.
