-You are dispatched on March 18, 2021 to investigate a motor vehicle collision. The collision occurred at 13:21hrs and you are Onscene at 13:30hrs.
-The collision occurred at the intersection of Pender Street and Lotta Avenue in the municipality of Ottawa.

Upon arrival at the scene, you see two vehicles in the intersection.
-One is a 2017 blue Dodge pickup truck, model 1500, with Ontario plate UCAN2 (Validation Tag expires Jul 6, 2021). The damage to the pickup truck consists of a slightly bent front bumper on the driver's side.
-The other is a 2020 Mercedes SEL sedan, silver, with Ont plate JMS123 (Val tag expires Oct 2021). The damage to the Mercedes is to the rear fender and bumper on the driver's side; it will require a tow truck to remove it from the scene by ABC Towing to Import Auto where it can be repaired.
-Both vehicles are owned by the drivers.
-There is an ambulance on scene.

-He provides his licence DL: G0067-38368-70706, Class A licence and his insurance slip for State Farm Policy# APL15978 exp 2021-07-10.

GERVAIS states that:
-He was driving southbound on Pender St. at about 45 K/H.
-As he approached the intersection of Lotta Av., he saw the Mercedes approaching the intersection from his right, slow down but not stop at the stop sign, then suddenly pull out in front of him.
-He said he applied the brakes but had no time to either bring his vehicle to a stop or to avoid the collision. (There are skid marks of 5.6 meters leading to the front wheels of his pickup truck.)

The driver of the Mercedes identified herself with a valid Ont DL as Mrs. Yvonne DESCHAMPS, of 33 Heron Rd, Ottawa, On. K2C 2H8, (613) 555-2211.
