Mr. ‘A’ is a 79 year-old patient that presents to A&E after a fall while walking his dog in the Park. The A&E doctor suspects an ankle fracture. When Mr. `A’ presents in the X-ray dept. he seems confused and is also agitated and wants to go home before having the radiograph. He says that he needs to go home as he has left his dog unattended. While Mr. ‘A’ is speaking to the receptionist a patient comes out of the X-ray room pressing a tissue to their left hand which is covered in blood.

She is accompanied by her 17 year-old son who explains at reception that she has a learning disability and is partially visually impaired. The son needs to go back out to pay the parking fee and leaves `B’ in a wheelchair in the waiting area.
