Sales in coloured candy have plateaued and the management have decided that sales could be improved by selling the candies in individually coloured bags. An additional machine was designed to work with the existing production line to perform the sorting operation. The company was not happy with the existing software solution and have asked your team to design a logic circuit that can perform the entire sorting operation.
Development
The project is expected to be completed within three weeks. A demonstration of the product is expected during the allocated lab time in week 13. You will have the lab sessions in weeks 10, 11 and 12 to complete this task. Keep in mind that the demonstration is required before the end of the lab session in week 13. There will be bonus marks available for presenting early in the lab, and penalty marks for presenting towards the end of the lab.
