Assessment 1: Assessing your entrepreneurial characteristics
Overview
The orientation and introductory modules for this unit require you to reflect on the characteristics of innovative entrepreneurs. To better understand your personality traits or characteristics, you will take the Myer's Briggs (MBTI) test.
Many of you may have heard or have already taken the Myer's Brigg's test. This is a personality test that provides you with 1 of 16 outcomes. Your outcome will advise you of your personality type but also how you perceive the world and make decisions. Making decisions is important when it comes to starting a business.
By completing this assessment, you will have a better understanding of how your personality and your tendencies will contribute to the type of entrepreneur that you will be. This will feed into the innovative venture that you come up with for Assessments 2.
