The project was MEP in nature and also contains some civil works. The machinery is PLC based. The project was executed in three major phases; erection, installation and commissioning phases. The industrial plant consisting of fully and semi-automatic filling machines works based on PLC’s, Hydraulic mixers, Two station screen printing machines, molding machinery, waterproofing mixers, vacuum pumps, chillers etc. The hydraulic mixers which are 4 in numbers consisting of (2 x 46 KW), (1 x 22 KW) motors, a double layered vessel with chilled water circulating, in which sealant is produced. After the production, it is packed through the semi and fully automatic filling machines. The filling cartridges and cans are manufactured and printed in the plant itself. The Waterproofing products are also manufactured by vacuum mixers. 1) Planning and executing the erection, installation, and commissioning of equipment used in the plant 2) Interpreting the specifications, standards and regulation, drawings relating to the electrical power equipment. 3) Determining the type and arrangement of LV switch gears, motor control, control panels, and DB’s, UPS and other electrical power equipment. 4) Coordinating with other disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, and Plumping) to achieve the maximum optimum designs and perfection that fulfills the management requirements. 5) Preparing scope documents, indicating fully and clearly the scope of suppliers, and sub-contractors. 6)Technical reviewing all the technical offers to identify the technically accepted suppliers and sub-contractors. 7) Replying to queries that are sent by the supervisors or sub-contractors to resolve any issues that arise during the installation phase. 8) Planning the installation schedule, inspecting the same upon completion of installation and requesting for management inspection. 9) Monitoring the whole activities while erection, installation and commissioning phases.
