Highlights
Introduction
In this paper, research proposal on the topic of Neonatal jaundice in ADH. Atoll Hospital-An learning neonatal complication has been made which will be based on the research design, methods and gathered data from the nurses in ADH.Atoll hospital. This research will be helpful to assess and critically evaluate Neonatal jaundice in ADH. Atoll Hospital-An learning neonatal complication. In addition to this, it is proposed in this research after evaluating the available information that Neonatal jaundice is recognized as one of the most communal conditions demanding medical consideration in newborn babies. Around 60 per cent of term and 80 per cent of preterm babies progress jaundice in the initial week of life, and around 10 per cent babies of breastfed age are still experienced jaundice at the age of month. Neonatal jaundice is commonly harmless, but increased concentrations of the unconjugated bilirubin might infrequently cause the kernicterus.
Justification
In this research, it has been justified that Neonatal jaundice is linked to breastfeeding in three main clinical conditions: completely breastfed healthy term babies during the initial postnatal week, babies who obtain insufficient breastfeeding and have increased concentrations of unplanned bilirubin throughout the initial postnatal week (non-feeding type of jaundice), and breastfed babies who face protracted unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia (breast milk jaundice). However, it has been observed that diagnoses or screening of neonatal jaundice in an early stage is essential to control the disease development. Different studies has been conducted on the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal jaundice. Therefore, the critical evolution of the topic Neonatal jaundice in ADH, Atoll Hospital-An learning neonatal complication is required to understand the critical aspects of Neonatal jaundice in ADH.Atoll hospital.
