Create solid models of the cast heavy duty castor using the drawing Using the solid model as a basis create an engineering drawing for the parts. The drawing should contain all the information for the manufacture of the part. Complete an assembly drawing for the completed castor assembly. Assessment Task: Create a portfolio of engineering drawings. The engineering drawings should be derived from 3D solid models created in SolidWorks. All drawings should be presented on an appropriate sized sheet with a drawing border. The drawings should be fully dimensioned (except assembly drawings). The drawings included in the portfolio should demonstrate the skills you have learnt in this module, e.g. use of design tables, sketch pictures, different view types, etc. You should prepare at least 4 drawings for each of the next 8 weeks, but can include drawings already completed. A series of drawings will be given and these should be completed and included in the portfolio. The remaining drawings should be created from a range of sources such as elements of design projects and the internet. Please submit a CD with ALL the files for your drawing portfolio. This should include ALL the solid models files as well as the drawing files. Please note that these drawings are linked and both need to be provided. As they are linked, please ensure that you do not change the names or the paths for the files as this will break the link between the files.
