The term “Noble Cause” Corruption appears to have been coined around 1969 by author Edwin Delattre. “Noble Cause” corruption, usually associated with police officers who act outside their lawful authority, or use questionable/illegal means to apprehend or convict persons believed to be engaged in criminal activity. Question- 1. Is “Noble Cause” corruption ever justifiable? Illustrate your answer with reference to relevant ethical theories. 2.  Concern for prisoners’ rights has gone too far. We should be less about them and more concerned about community safety and the needs of victims. Critically assess the validity of this statement.
