This assignment is an individual task. You will prepare an Information sheet about a particular type of cancer.

• However, it cannot be melanoma, other skin cancers, or cancers of the breast.

Instead, it should be cancer from either:

• the bones
• the muscles
• the blood cells or the bone marrow

The gastrointestinal system. This could be cancer of the oral cavity or the esophagus in addition to the liver, pancreas and gastrointestinal tract.

It will involve describing the cancer and then one, not a combination of them, of the following

• detection
• screening
• treatment
• monitoring

In some cases, detection and screening go hand in hand and this would be the only example where you could present a combination of topics.
