The effectiveness of thrust vectoring leads to the six generation of flight control revolution i.e. Jet Engine Steering (JES) contributes to post-stall capabilities, tailless and canard-less design and stall-spin recovery.
The project is to investigate the effect of throat geometry on passively controlled area nozzle performance using CFD software.
Aims and Objective
The overarching aim of the project is to develop a nozzle having design simplicity, light weight, cost effective and good performance over a wide range of flight conditions which can be exclusively used for tailless and canard-less aircrafts (i.e. manned and unmanned), missiles and space shuttles.
