Phillipa Rogers is a 48-year-old woman who works at the local RSPCA shelter and lives alone with 2 cats and a dog. Phillipa has a daughter, Claire who lives nearby and they catch up weekly for lunch. Phillipa developed a pressure ulcer on her left heel just over a month ago. It started as a small blister from new shoes and progressed from there quite rapidly. Phillipa attends the local general practice clinic for wound dressings and health checks every 3 days.
