Task:

TASK
Students are required to read the casestudy and respond to questions noted below to satisfy the requirements of supplementary assessment for NRSG375.
CASE STUDY
Manuel is a Graduate Nurse working on a busy surgical unit in a large urban hospital. Manuel enjoys his job and is keen to pursue a position in stoma care in the same hospital. He has won a grant from the Quality Improvement program to develop a new project that looks at gathering data about each patient’s; habits of personal hygiene, skin type, skin pH and technique when using and removing stoma appliances to prevent peristomal complications. The project will be evaluated at the end of one year. Manuel, as the change agent, is tasked with implementing the change. Susannah, the Quality Manager, is highly supportive, but some of the nurses don’t have time and are not willing to help make the program a reality.
Students are required to submit a short answer response of 250 words for each of the following questions which relate to the case study ‘Manuel” above.
