The aim of Assessment One Part A is for you to propose a research question you have about nursing or midwifery practice and implement a database search to obtain articles relating to your question. In your assessment you will need to address each of the following: 

• propose a research question including a PICO/PICo,

• conduct a key word Medline and CINAHL search and present the search histories of both,

• provide the references of 4 papers relating to the research question, and

• comment on why evidence-based practice is important for nurses and midwives? (include 1 reference in this section).
