Highlights
Background of the study
Sustainable logistics and environmental management is an emerging research handling issues such as pollution and waste reduction in the manufacturing processes. Our study endeavours to fill the void by exploring the management practices attributable to green logistics management along with the augmented reality (Liu and Yan, 2018). With the increase in the value chain of business, starting from the inbound logistics to operations, outbound logistics, marketing sales and services, the need for green logistics is essential (Li, 2014). Thereby, assessing the augmented reality of Green Logistics Management (GLM) in persuading supply chain management will act as notable research. The adoption of green logistics investigation and exploration will be an opportunity for the manufacturing industries in competently responding to the expectation of the growing demands and performance profitability. Moreover, the implementation and exploration of the augmented reality in the green logistics research study will provide the potential to add virtual information into the employees working space (Mueck, 2005).
Literature Review - NURBN1004
Several studies have been performed to study the green business for sustainable competitiveness and development across the globe. Karagülle (2012) conducted a study on the increasing awareness about the environmental issues Turkish logistics industry.
