The purpose of this learning task is to expand your research on the global health issue that you have presented as a E-Poster in your group. You will develop an individual recorded slide presentation to examine your Global Health Issue (GHI) and highlight the relevant Australian Health Policy that aims to address the global health issue you have chosen.

Description:

In this assignment students are required to: Working individually, present your presentation slides as the following:

Cover Slide – Include the Title of your health issue, Student name and Student ID and campus location. Slide 2 - Briefly introduce your global health issue and include its relevance to the Australian local and national population (specify which population groups are likely to be affected).

Slide 3 - Briefly describe the Modifiable and/or Non-Modifiable Risk factors for the health issue and/or risk factors that can influence the spread within the context of the Australian local and national population.

Slide 4 - Briefly describe the impact of this global health issue on the Australian local and national population (for example burden of disease and socioeconomic impacts).

Slide 5 – Briefly describe the challenges in managing the health issue in the Australian local and national population (for example determinants of health such as socioeconomics, access etc.)

Slide 6 – Briefly explain the relevant Australian Health Policy used to target, prevent and manage this health issue in the Australian local and national population.

Slide 7/8- Reference List in APA 7th Ed.

Design: Use the E-Poster Design Tips found in Assessment Task 1 resources to help you create an interesting representation of your chosen health issue. You should use less text and more visual representation of information including pictures and graphs. Consider your use of colour/backgrounds to complement (not detract) from your design to engage the reader.
