Differentiate between the assessment of infants, children and young people taking into account expected growth and developmental ages and stages. CO3. Demonstrate an evidence-based plan of care for children presenting with acute healthcare problems. CO4. Evaluate current research to provide strategies to prevent or minimise future health issues within a framework of health promotion, quality, safety and risk management. CO5. Apply knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacology in the management of common health problems presenting in infants, children and young people. CO6. Analyse the cultural, legal and ethical considerations in caring for infants, children and young people with health problems.You will be assessed individually for your OSCA assessment in the HHHS on the paediatric knowledge and skills which you have learned throughout the course.Your OSCA assessment will be derived from a collection of the following conditions and/or scenarios:

Musculoskeletal e.g. radial fracture
Endocrine e.g. Diabetes
Growth & development e.g. milestones
Gastrointestinal e.g. dehydration, nutrition,

Pain e.g. assessment and management
Medication e.g. assessment, administration and management
