Purpose: To understand and practice the registration requirements of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). CPD requires RNs to maintain, improve and broaden nursing knowledge, expertise and competence, and develop the personal and professional qualities required throughout their professional lives.

Description: You will complete 10 hours of CPD using a variety of educational sources which align with the health areas covered in this course, and complete the required documentation for CPD from the Nursing and Midwives Board of Australia (NMBA) CPD Sources Choose from the CPD Educational Sources provided on Blackboard (Assessment tab).

You need a total of 10 hours of CPD and you must use at least six different activities. You must have at least 4 hours (but you can do up to 10 hours) from the ‘CPD Educational Sources’ provided on Blackboard (Assessment tab). Up to six hours of the total 10 hours can be taken from selected NURS2201 course readings/activities – these are highlighted in blue in the Student Workbook. Compulsory Requirements You must submit this assessment item to pass the course. Format

You must use the table template under Assessment tab on NURS2201 Blackboard. Use APA style to reference CPD sources.

10 hours of CPD (3 hours from Respiratory , 3 hours from Cardiac and 3 hours from Stroke), remaining one hour could be taken from CPD educational activities.

And also explain how will you apply to your practice, Did it increase your knowledge, was it evidence based knowledge, how will it help to keep up your knowledge.
