One of your allocated patients is Mr Flight who is a 73- year-old man who was admitted with chest pain 2 days ago. At 0800 this morning he stated that he had severe chest pain, an ECG was undertaken which showed ST elevation in his anterior leads. His last set of observations were taken at 0800 and were BP 100/70, HR 98, RR 22, Temp 36.7, SpO2 94% on Room air (RA), he continues to have severe chest pain. He is alert and orientated. None of his medications have been administered yet. The Dr has reviewed Mr Flight’s ECG and has suggested that Mr Flight might require Cardiac Catheterisation soon.
