Her daughter explained that Gen left the house in her car to go shopping, and was brought back home by police, which they explained that a passer-by had to call the police and explain to them that she found Gen wandering around her car. when asked where she was going, she was lost for words, does not know and could not recall her home address. The police found her license in her purse, and they took her to her home address. Her daughter explained that she was diagnosed with dementia Alzheimer’s disease the previous year. That is why she was brought to the care home. Alzheimer’s is a brain disorder that affect recall, memory, thinking and behaviour issues. The symptoms typically grow slowly and get worse over time and can interfere with everyday life.

Her daughter was her primary carer. When Gen was at home, her daughter notices that Gen lost interest in everything she loved doing, like gardening, dancing, singing, and verbally abusive at time, she also notices that Gen was incontinent, which was uncommon for her.
