You are required to conduct a topology optimization for a Reinforcement Structure (RS) to repair a Melbourne Star Observation Wheel (MSOW) as illustrated in Figure 1. The location of this building is in the District Docklands, 101 Waterfront Way, Docklands VIC 3008. Google map coordinates: -37.8107043,144.9386688Due to long services, most of supporting arms need to be reinforced. One supporting arm to support the wheel becomes very weak and should be repaired by additional supporting structure. A simplified 2D model is available on Canvas for you to measure and visualise as illustrated in Figure 2. The relative density of the equivalent steel structure can be considered as 0.05.
