Task: This task involves reading a case study, reporting an incident and identifying what the worker could do to help address his own sense of safety. Case Study Frankie Frankie is a new worker at a community service organisation. He is employed as an advocate. In his first week he is verbally abused and intimidated by one of the clients. Frankie didn’t know what to do or how to react to the aggressive behaviour. After the incident he feels very upset and anxious. His supervisor asks him to complete an incident/hazard report form. Frankie does this, knowing that it is the first step towards dealing with this situation.
