One of the ISO 9001 quality management principles is ‘Customer Focus’. Please address the following questions:

a. What is meant by a ‘Customer Focus’? (20%)
b. Why is a ‘Customer Focus’ so important to organizations and to supply chains? (25%) 
c. How can an organization find out whether it is providing the goods and/or services that its customers want, i.e. determine whether their customers are ‘satisfied’? (25%)

Your report is to be a maximum of 1800 words in length and your responses should be supported with references from quality management literature. It is expected that you will include a minimum of 3 journal article references in your responses to each question together with any web references that you may use.

Introduction and Conclusion                      
The Introduction section should clearly detail the topic and assignment activity to be performed and how the individual will attempt to address the task assigned. The conclusion section should summarise the main conclusions and arguments that the student has established in the body of the report.

The report should be clear and logical in its format and be easy to read and interpret
