Poster Format

You will need to prepare an HD format digital poster (1920 x 1080 resolution) for display on the LCD display screens in the undergraduate project lab (venue: ECU JO 23.119) that provides a concise overview of your project and what you have achieved during the semester.

Your poster should be typed in a clear bold print that can be easily read from distances of around 1 – 2 metres with the title displayed in a large font at the top of the poster. The name of the presenter should also be clearly displayed. The contents of the poster should include the background, purpose/objectives, methods/options, results and conclusion(s) of your first semester’s project work. Content and Organisation

The poster should be logically constructed and present content at the appropriate level. You will need to demonstrate that you have in-depth knowledge and understanding of your project, and have made significant progress over the course of the semester. Also, do not presume that the majority of viewers will be specialists in your field, so try to provide sufficient background and explanation for them to follow your poster. Try to make the poster as visually appealing and engaging as possible such that you grab the viewer’s interest.
