In this hands-on activity, you will be completing the following tasks:

• Use Packet Tracer to configure the network in the above diagram
• Configuration of IOS device settings as specified in the instructions below
• Design and calculation of IPv4 addressing
• Configuration of VLANs and trunking
• IP Addressing and host port configuration
• Static Routing
• Dynamic Routing with OSPF
• Configuration of ACLs
• Static NAT, and PAT
• Connectivity tests.
   

Step 1 – IP Address Planning 

Subnet the “Company NET” network into 8 equally sized networks

• Use the first 6 of these subnets for VLANs 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 respectively
• Skip using the 7th subnet as it is reserved for future use.
• Further divide the 8th subnet into /30 subnets for use on point-to-point connections.

Configure VLANs and Trunking

• Configure VLANs 10, 20, 30 and 40 on Switch1 and Switch 2
• Configure VLANs 50 and 60 on Switch3
• Configure the appropriate access ports for the PCs on Switch 2 and Switch 3 
• Configure the appropriate ports on Switch1, Switch2, and Switch 3 as trunks.

Configure Static IP Addressing 

• Using the Addressing Table, configure the IP addressing for the Serial and Gigabit subinterfaces on R1 and R2 (Provider is already configured)
• Assign static addressing for PCs in the appropriate subnets for VLANs 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60
