Mrs B is a 70-year-old woman who lives on her own. Her daughter visits her often. She is generally an active woman who loves gardening and takes good care of her garden. She is a very spiritual person and likes to attend church on Sunday. She also has type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. One day while in the garden she had a fall and broke her hip. After this, she became more dependent on her daughter, which affected her emotionally. She also started to neglect herself and lost a significant amount of weight. Her family wanted her to have good quality care so they decided it would be best to move her to a rest home.
