You are to read the book and write a minimum word personal response. By personal response I mean that I want to hear what you personally think and feel in response as you read the book. And I want to know what you think about the book.

In other words, I am NOT looking for a book review telling me what is in the book. I already know that. Instead, I want to know how you personally respond to the book. You may ignore the foreword and start reading the book from page 9. This is a reflective essay, so no referencing is necessary.

As a reflective essay I expect not only a personal response to the book and issues raised in it, but also, I expect you to form and express a personal opinion and position.
Also, if the book causes you to reflect on any aspect of your own life experience, then you should write about that as well.

Your personal response to the book you might include a discussion of how aspects of what you have learned in lectures relate to issues raised by Boori Pryor in the book.
